deGruchy Masonry Restoration serves the historic masonry preservation community in Bucks County and surrounding areas since 1984. In 1999 we started LimeWorks®.us and began to supply historically appropriate lime mortar, plaster, and limewash materials along with the training needed to install these specialized materials properly. We now supply other masons and building owners not only with material and technical support but we also do initial site visits to help guide an owner so they could consider what we suggest is an appropriate approach when repointing and re-plastering and whitewashing vintage masonry. Our intent is to suggest what would help achieve a long-term service life to any masonry repair and what would be a best practices approach for new-build applications. Call deGruchy Masonry Restoration first to schedule a "mini-consult". Our crews are actively doing the work so we most likely can offer a proposal to carry out the work. However we do not mind if you have your favorite mason attend our site visit so we can offer our advice as a sounding board so that you and your mason can understand the value of the materials we sell at LimeWorks®.us. A site visit can help owners of vintage masonry structures to also become better informed on current accepted practices regarding working on vintage masonry. This is helpful to owners so that when other masons are interviewed, an owner of a vintage masonry building can compare all quotes and specifications with good industry knowledge to judge each one.
