| This
is a section of an exterior plaster over stone building which is receiving
the "lining-out" restored to the plaster so as to imitate large,
quarry-cut and ashlar-laid blocks of stone. See my frequently asked questions
section to find out why stonework is covered with plaster and then has faux
cut stones and faux brickwork drawn into the wet plaster. In this case the
detail was intact in the attic of what once was an exterior wall and so
was then reproduced throughout the entire exterior. |
